پس از خواندن پاسخ-مقاله دکتر عبدالکریم سروش به آقای بهمن پور ... سری به سایت ایشان زدم... و ...

دکتر سروش دین در جامعه را مرکز ثقل جهان می داند که افراد جامعه به دور آن می چرخند. ایشان با هدف آشتی دادن دین تحت پوشش (لباس) مدرنیته با حکومت تلاش می کند... حال آنکه در تاریخ بشر نمونه ای از یک حکومت ایدیلوژیک و یا حکومت مذهبی که مردمانش را به خوشبختی مطلق و یا حتی نسبی رسانیده باشد... نداشته ایم. دکتر سروش ادعای خویش را برمبنای چه شهود و واقعیتی بنا می گذارد... الله الاعلم!

جناب سروش! علم جامعه شناسی تا حدودی علم تجربیست... نه فلسفه!

It is reasonable for the Iranian regime to leave the NPT (and the word reasonable and the Iranian regime are written in the same sentence?!)... not only the government (and its devotees) is (are) a killer machine and a terrorist supporting state but also bunch of dumdums! ... As a member of NPT the regime did have certain rights!... but they spent years hiding the nuclear program before parts of it were uncovered by the MKO! چند روز پیش یک مقاله خوب در اکونومیست خوندم... که اگر اسمش یادم بیاد می نویسم... راجع به عقل دست جمعی و از این حرفها/تحقیقات بود... و اما ابراهیم نبوی, نوشته: "سر ملت را اگر می خواهید کلاه بگذارید به نظر من اشکالی ندارد، همه این کار را می کنند و زیاد هم برای شان مشکل بوجود نمی آید." وقتی روشنفکر و نویسنده مملکتی مثل ایران از رای به رفسنجانی حمایت می کند... و نظر نبوی را هم داشته باشد که :" سر ملت را اگر می خواهید کلاه بگذارید به نظر من اشکالی ندارد، "همه" این کار را می کنند..." دیگر چه جای شکوه و شکایت دارد که در بروکسل زندگی می کند و نه در روستایی که "باید"!

  

 

I was reading about the recent arrests in Iran. What exactly is this Iranian Criminal Justice? A God-given Iranian version of the Islamic law? Why don't we have a religious figure who can boldly just say the appropriate role of religion in politics and law is not what the murderer mullahs are committing against Iranians! Yes, religion plays a great role in a country like Iran but we are not the first or the last country where religion has an important impact on our lives. Look at Italy! On every hill there is a holy place of worship!

از مغازه ایرانی (بعد از 40 دقیقه رانندگی تا رسیدن به مقصد!) برمیگردیم... دست از پا درازتر ... بدون سی. دی. بلک کتز(صدای خواننده اصلی -کامیار؟- گروه عالیه... )و شهرزاد سپانلو و ... گوگوش (خواننده مورد علاقه پ)... توی راه من طبق معمول این یک سال در حال ماساژ شانه چپم هستم (از درد) ... و بابا و دختر در حال آواز خوندن... بعد... دختر کوچولو شروع به خوندن آهنگ آزادی از شهرزاد سپانلو می کنه... و باباش هم قربون صدقه اش می ره... که چقدر دخترش خوب فارسی می خونه!...... امروز یک خطر بزرگ از سر دختر رد شد...... با سر از پشت خورد زمین... احساس کردم نفسم تو گلوم موند...... ( تو سربازی/پرستاری... کمکهای اولیه و غیره رو یاد گرفتم... بعد هم حفظ خونسردی از شرایط لازمه در چنین مواقعی هست) اما... که مردم و زنده شدم... بیچاره این پدر و مادرم از دست من و دو تا برادرام چه شکنجه ای شدن... بیخود نیست امروز بابا اینقدر فشار خونش بالاست... چقدرم که دلم برای پدر تنگ شده... مدتیه که از پیش ما برگشتن اروپا و باز خونه ما خالی شده... از صدای تلق و تلوق و اره و تیشه و تبر، چکش و چرخ خیاطی و دیگ و انگلیسی یاد گرفتن بابا و شکایت که چرا شما بچه ها هیچوقت به من انگلیسی کمک نکردین یاد بگیرم... و نوه به دنبال پدر بزرگ دویدن با شلنگ آب... و صدای پدر که... شیما بیا این بچه ات رو بگیر بابا... منو خیس کرد... و کروکر خنده های بلند هردو...

Grapes come from vines; but Ahmadinejad is treated so differently from the previous Iranian president that you start wondering about the vines and grapes! The Iranians inside the country, the Iranians outside the country, and the United Nation delegates snub Ahmadinejad... even a CNN reporter, Christina Amanpour interviews Ahmadinejad without hair-covers (Ouch!) Aren't both Khatami and Ahmadinejad the representatives of the same regime that terrorizes its own people, and supports and exports terrorists? Is Ahmadinejad mistreated (!) because he is not a clergy and does not have the same shape as the rest of the gallows? Why is it that for the ever-smiling president Khatami, the hell froze and people bowed to his excellency but for this guy (by the way more power to those who went and demonstrated against Ahmadinejad's speech at the United Nations in NY,) it's all about the way he talks, walks, his white socks & black trousers, his big nose and ugly smile! At least this guy... unlike those other murderers... has a PhD...If not for the PhD... the least we can do is hurray... for his Masters in engineering!
From these entire... there is one tiny winy conclusion.... and that is...(a Socio-psychological conclusion)... the depth and power... the clergies have had for decades on the Iranians' lives... only... the power is now shifting to the defenders of revolution!

My heterosexuality... apparently is not only a problem but also a matter of discrimination!... my friend and co-author, Ron had submitted our poem as a co-written work to these people... the editor responded to Ron as if I... had not contributed to the poem. They wanted to publish his part... without mentioning my name and after our inquiry the editor killed the already-accepted-poem! I say... their editor needs to take a course in public relations because I am too straight to be tongue-tied.

I finished an interview tonight and I had the image/s of Ahmadinejad, the Iranian president in NY, and the two Kurdish men who were recently executed in Iran... when answering the questions regarding my blogging... the thing is...

Does my blogging give a negative image of Iran? Well perhaps we need to change the reality of our country in order to present a better image of Iran to the world! We are a nation where we "watch" executions in the streets of the capital, we "vote" for a murderer mullah like Rafsanjani... in order to stop another murderer from becoming the next president... we are a country where stoning (sangsar) is not looked upon as a sin but losing virginity is! And women can't divorce their husband, have no saying in their children's lives once they are divorced, and are equivalent of a garbage disposal by both the laws of the country and the male population... so why should I present a positive image when a terrorist is speaking in the United Nations on my behalf and my country!

We (my Dad, the little girl and this blogger) went with a few of P's friends to a farm and picked/bought apples and peaches... to bake pies... on the upcoming rainy weekends!

  

 

The little girl... points at the children's program and says... I want my hair to be like hers... I ask her ...if she means... long or yellow hair (I use the word yellow in Persian and not golden for the blond.) She looks back at me and says... I want...to have yellow hair... I want to be a princess... I tell her... "well... not every princess has yellow hair... Snow White and Jasmine have black hair... just like yours"... and ... there and then ... I decide to do a wall painting for her room... her school has been closed for 7-8 days now and she may very well enjoy some mom and daughter activity!

  

 

At the doctor's office 2

In the waiting room... the little girl applies her advanced physical techniques to fly... round and round the seating area. When the butterfly returns home to drink water and her lips touch the chair.. my dad who was enjoying/watching the little girl's performance/dancing/flying arms/wings... tells her: bache jan! sandalia kasifan! Dahaneto nazan! (your lips shouldn't touch the chair! These chairs are not clean!) ... so she kisses... as if drinking water... from the spring of her little hands...
