In my opinion it is important to help your child learn she can stand up for herself from an early age. So today when we were out and some boy shouted at her... and she ran to me crying... I told her... when he (or anyone) shouts at you... tell him you don't appreciate him shouting, or tell him there is enough space for both of you to play or shout back... after all you know taekwondo! I also told her, she has to stand up for herself... anyway... later on when we were passing a Victoria Secret store, she asked if she can have a bra. We went in and asked one of the sales ladies. The lady asked the little girl: how old are you? The little girl replied: I will be five in March. The sales lady smiled and said: It is a very Good Question... well I think you have a few years before you will need one.
