The Rollback Time

This is the rollback time. I don’t know what this “no attack on Iran” campaign is for!! There is not going to be an attack on Iran. The U.S. is trying to put Iran’s terrorist supporting regime in a position that the regime won’t be able to negotiate on its terms or... the regime will do something that will bring them a... let me call it a response. And Iran has been attacked and occupied by this regime for over twenty seven years now. What can possibly be worse than what Iran has experienced and is experiencing as of today, in 2007!!

Do you read my story, the story of my love, a love so deep that it is needless of your physical presence? Has there ever been a lover who has traced your essence in the air and kissed your lettering at every chance she gets. Have you ever had a lover who sits patiently for you to take her in your dreams if not in reality, who wears you like a bangle, and to whom she is like a devotee to Lal Shahbaz Qalandar?....... to walk so that the movements of my breasts wouldn't break the bricks on the walls. Thus I was a bad apple. They planted me, watered me, and yet I came out to be blue. I felt the pain, heard the screams that couldn't leave the walls of Evin prison when I passed them to go climbing the mountains in northern Tehran. I knew the walls real color isn't gray, isn't made of cements but blood, torture, and I learned heaven is reserved for the raped virgins. I wanted you to hold me, to sooth me, to love me in the mornings and afternoons...... (here)

Hunger strike threatens life of another political prisoner

Abbas Lesani is on hunger strike.
Here is a blog referred by Yahia Lababidi, my friend and one of the poets I have co-written with. You can learn more on Yahia here and order his book here.
THE JERUSALEM POST: The Middle East has undergone a dramatic shift in alignments, perhaps more significant than anything that has happened since the 1950s. On one side are the HISH powers - Hizbullah, Iran, Syria, Hamas - and on the other virtually every other Arab state. The latter, less radical group is also placed in a situation where its interests parallel those of Israel and the United States.
Kurds are on hunger strike.

Iranian regime change: "Faster, please!"
Salon: Michael Ledeen, long a proponent of "democratic revolution" in Iran, weighs the odds of military action by the U.S.

What do you think the U.S. should do?
I want to support revolution in Iran.

How?
Listen, can I ask you a question? Have you read anything I've written?

Yes.

I mean, I've answered this so many thousand times, and I'm really bored by this question. And I've laid it all out in writing, so -- can we pass on that, since you know the answer to that question?

Do you speak Farsi, the language of Iran?
No. That's why God invented translators.

You know, at eight when the bombs were to diminish me, I mourned and experienced Lebenswende. I prayed to Thor whom I didn't know at the time. I wanted him to generate me light when I took refuge reading poetry. Now you have come with your tall words, and I fear not knowing if you are the god to save me or am to be saved from. Now I write page after page but what do they matter to you? They are unworthy literature. They do not heal. I am not a healer. (here)

The little girl loves The Phantom of the Opera. Last year she wanted to be an opera singer and we heard a lot of high and low notes in the car as well as around the house. She has changed her mind since but here is one of her favorite videos from the Phantom of the Opera.

"I don't know if my psyche
can handle many more nightmares."

My blood pressure declined and I had a fall. Now my face is full of bruises and my right arm is hurting. I was sitting and the next thing I remember is I was on the floor with great amount of pain in my face and right arm. I cried out P's name not realizing he is in D.C. and two hours away by plane. After three hours and having abe ghand (sweetened water) I felt good to drive the little girl to the park. What a day. The only other time I remember I had a fall and went unconscious because of low blood pressure is when I was 6. I always have to have some candy to suck on especially if I go skiing or hiking in the winter but this was at home.
Words flow and I write. I didn't choose to be born a woman. I didn't even know I like Chamomile tea with honey and vanilla. Maybe I want you to know me with admiration and not exaggeration or doubt. I want you to feel the courage to change (here)

The soul journeys beyond these words and I wonder if the deepest human desire is freedom, youth or beauty. Is it wise to not be tempted by wanting to know or to bake a sponge cake with three yolks, 1 cup of flour, and ½ cup water and some love? I am tired. I had to do some blood test yesterday to see if it is my thyroid that has been causing this problem. What are magic rays when light is less than a delightful haven? Verses that fill my fingers and heart, and travel through my very existence. Is it just to say I am tired of the injustice in the world and that is what leaves me more like an enemy to my peace than a friend of my quiet?

Eleven people, nine women and two men as listed below have been condemned to be stoned to death. According to Article 6 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, signed and ratified by Iran in 1975, in countries which have not abolished the death penalty, sentence of death may be imposed only for the most serious crimes. Article 7 of the same covenant states that No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhumane or degrading treatment or punishment. Despite ratifying the above covenant, the Islamic penal code gives the judges the right to sentence the accused to death by stoning even when the crime of adultery has not been proved according to the same penal code's standards and requirements.
