Happy Mother’s Day. The little girl has bought me the biggest orange ring one can find in a Target store and I love it. Interestingly and ever since I have taken the little girl to my readings her poetry has grown past her drawing lines. Now she has readings at home. She said her first poem when she was two and a half or three but here is her latest: Once upon a time there was a moon and a sun The sun came up and the noon was high Then the moon came up and the cat said bye. The trees are high but wait a minute The kids dancing around the apple tree are hungry Then to have a treat they called their mommy The kids laugh and cheered and then they had apple and had no more tear Daam daraam daaraam hey hey… After each of her pretend-poetry-readings her dad teacher her probability.
